Poppy’s Starting Hair
Poppy wasn’t looking for length, her focus was on addingvolume.
Her hair is naturally finer through the mids to ends, so even when it was styled, it could fall a little flat. She wanted that fuller, more elevated look: hair that holds shape and just feels a bit more “done” day to day.
The Extensions We Use at Bixie
With extensions, the blend is everything. That’s why founder Sheree Knobel knew she wanted to bring them back to Bixie when her friend and fellow salon owner Kaine Vakai launched his collaboration with Jadore Hair Supplies.
Colour Matching Poppy's Colour
You can just tell the shades are created by a colourist - built-in dimension, soft root shadows and beautiful tones.
Nothing blocky, nothing obvious. You shouldn’t be able to tell where her hair ends and the extensions begin.
For this transformation, we used:

Tape extensions (Haus of Vakai / Kaine Vakai)

2 packets: shades Cool Cookie and Churro
Tape extensions are perfect when the goal is volume. They sit flat to the head, feel lightweight, and move really naturally with your own hair.
The End Result
This wasn’t about a dramatic before and after. It was about refining what she already had.
We added fullness through the ends, more body through the lengths, and that overall “put together” finish.
The kind of change you feel straight away, even if it still looks like your hair.
