Hello Bixie Babes!

We have some exciting news to share this month - after two years of the pandemic hindering our ability to not only travel (as we have all been missing), the restrictions on travel also saw our salon take a pause on our education tours.

Well, with borders back open and flights back up and running, we have finally embarked on our first education tour since 2019!

This month, Sheree, Ash, Maddy and Paige flew across the pond to our gorgeous neighbours in New Zealand to present at the Redken Academy in Auckland! Over the two day tour, the team held interactive workshops attended by 50 students to educate them on some of the techniques and styles that Bixie is so well known for. 

On the day, Sheree presented three models with differing hair colours and styles to demonstrate the variety of clientele the Bixie girls work with on a day to day basis in our salon. Throughout the day, Sheree also guided the students on not only the process of hair design, but how we at Bixie incorporate our work to create content for our social channels. On the second day of the workshop, students were provided the opportunity to try to recreate the techniques Sheree presented in her Day 1 workshop with their own selected models.

We could not be more excited to be heading back on the road and participating in tours that highlight one of the core foundations of the Bixie brand, education.
