We at Bixie could not be more excited to announce our recent success in the AHFA’s Finalist Nominations back in February.

The Australian Hair Fashion Awards are a renowned and gratifying achievement for any hair salon to be able to place upon their mantel. Being Australia’s largest and most successful independent hairdressing awards competition, the AHFA’s are judged by a panel of international industry professionals, meaning that those that are recognised are critiqued and awarded by some of the most distinguished and acclaimed names in global hair and beauty.This year, we are proud to have been nominated for three categories, two of which this will be our second year in a row being nominated!

Salon of the Year 2019

Bixie has been announced for the second-year running as a finalist in the Salon Business of the Year category. A milestone achievement for any hairdressing salon, we cannot express our immense gratitude enough in being recognised amongst some of the most talented and incredible hair salons within our Australian industry.

Digital Influencer of the Year 2019

Any follower of our Instagram and social pages will know how much importance we at Bixie place on the digital mediums role in influencing the world of hair and beauty in today’s landscape. Sheree and our team spend an immense amount of time curating and perfecting our digital presence, and are so grateful to be recognised in this category for the second year running.

Excellence in Education 2019

2018 was a huge year for the Bixie Education team. Setting out to cover more ground both domestically and internationally than we had ever aspired to before on our hairdresser education tours, we took our knowledge and skills abroad to London, Leicester and Amsterdam, as well as continuing our rigorous tours across the nation’s capitals back on home soil. To be nominated in this category for the first time is an incredible achievement for our hairdressing salon, and we are honoured to even have been nominated amongst some of the finest hair stylists educators in our industry.
